  • EE2 monoclonal antibody binds exclusively with EE2 and does not show cross-reaction with other hormones or chemicals with similar structures.

EE2

Chemical Structure Ethynylestradiol (EE2), one of main ingredients for contraceptive pill, is suspected as one of the endocrine disrupting chemicals. While GC-MS or LC-MS/MS are generally employed method for quantitative analysis, they require expensive instrumentation as well as complex and time-consuming extraction process with hazardous organic solvent. This test kit detects EE2 in environment or in vitro at a ppt level(ng/L) with the aid of solid phase extraction.


EE2 Standard Curve

EE2 Standard Curve Samples containing Ethynylestradiol(EE2) within the dynamic range (0.05ƒÊg/L- 3ƒÊg/L) can be directly applied to assay after filtration. Samples with Ethynylestradiol content below the range must be concentrated with solid phase extraction prior to the ensuing session. Coefficient of variation(CV) is generally under 10% throughout the dynamic range.

Pretreatment (Simplified Solid Phase Extraction) Adjust the pH of the sample to 5.0 with 1M Acetic acid. Pour sample liquid through a C18 solid-phase cartridge/disk and elute EE2 with dichloromethane.

Dry the sample with nitrogen gas, then adjust MeOH concentration at 10% for measurement.

  • The specific procedure may vary in sample quality.
